In order to balance the needs of those patients with urgent problems against those with more chronic illnesses who are able to plan some way into the future, we offer a flexible GP appointment structure at both sites:
24hr advance booked morning appointments (8.30 am until 10 am).
- Please ring at 8am the day before to book (ring Friday for Monday appointments).
A unique "Wait and See" surgery (you must be seated between 10.30am and 11.30am).
- As long as you are prepared to wait, you will be seen by a GP without an appointment.
- You may be waiting some time, but you will be seen.
- This is an 'urgent' problem surgery and is NOT for medication reviews.
- One patient, one problem - please do not bring lists. This is unfair to other patients waiting.
- You can not specify a particular GP. Please do not embarrass the Receptionists by asking.
Pre-bookable afternoon appointments (these vary between 2pm and 5.30pm).
- Ideal for complex problems, medication reviews or issues requiring more time.
- We also have a 'Duty Doctor' on call each afternoon for urgent problems.
