Online booking of appointments
To use the online service to book your appointment you must already be registered with the Practice for online access (i.e. for re-ordering prescriptions).
To register you must present yourself in person to either surgery site with a valid form of photo ID (passport, driving licence/UK Identity card) where you will be given a username and initial password. Protecting your medical privacy and identity are important to us.
The button below will transfer you to our clinical computing provider SystmOne™ and their secure site to continue your request. The tutorial button shows screen captured images to identify key issues when booking online, we also ask that you read the notes below (please use the scrollbar) at least once and periodically to ensure you are abreast of the principles and any changes in practice with respect to booking GP and Nurse appointments.
We have invested a lot of time and resource in improving our accessibility and offering as flexible a selection of appointments with GPs and Nurses as possible during the working week.
We no longer have a drop-in 10.30-11.30am "wait and see" session but can offer same-day appointments if you call us in the morning, for urgent or appropriate problems.
We offer a range of appointment slots spread throughout each weekday between 8am and 6pm. We also offer extended hours, opening early (7am) and later (up to 8pm) most Mondays - strictly by appointment - for commuter convenience (excludes bank, public & school holidays).
The reason for your appointment
To ensure you are seen by the most appropriate clinician it is extremely helpful for us to know the reason for your visit when booking your appointment. We appreciate that not everyone will feel comfortable disclosing personal information to our Reception colleagues and we do not require that you do this.
All information is treated in the strictest of confidence within the Practice.
Telephone Consultations
Listening to our patients, we have been offering bookable telephone consultations with a GP/Nurse for the past two years. These are best used for quick queries rather than complex cases. You can book them by contacting the Surgery or online. Please ensure you are available at the booked time to receive the call. We will try to give a window of time for you to expect your call but occasionally the clinican may call outside of this if urgent cases dictate.
Important notes
Please be careful when making your reservation that you select the correct Surgery site and make a record of the date and time for your future reference.
If you are unable to keep an appointment you have reserved please cancel it at the earliest opportunity so that others may make use of it instead, even last minute cancellations can free up valuable time for other patients. Each missed appointment is a waste of your NHS.
