To improve patient safety we have stopped accepting telephone requests for repeat medications.

If you receive repeat medications you will be given a list of your drugs for reordering purposes. You may post these requests to the relevant surgery, fax them, deliver them in person to either surgery or many of the local chemists. You may also email them via the form on the next page.

Please allow 2 working days to process your request into a prescription at your chosen collection point.

We aim to review all patients on repeat medication annually (6 monthly in some cases). This is to ensure you are tolerating your medications and to assess the problems for which they were first prescribed. We routinely issue 2 months supply, with very few exceptions (eg the contraceptive pill is issued 6 monthly & HRT 3 monthly).

The Practice reserves the right to decline a request if it is felt inappropriate or our systems indicate that you are over-using medication, or in need of a medication review.
