Coronavirus: latest information and advice
The NHS is moving to a new phase in an attempt to protect the most vulnerable members of our community as well as our staff who you will need to provide you with your ongoing healthcare.
In line with national guidance:
Stay at home
- Only go outside for food, health reasons or work (where this absolutely cannot be done from home)
- Stay 2 metres (6ft) away from other people
- Wash your hands as soon as you get home
If you live with other people, they should stay at home for 14 days from the day the first person got symptoms.
If you live with someone who is 70 or over, has a long-term condition, is pregnant or has a weakened immune system, try to find somewhere else for them to stay for 14 days.If you have to stay at home together, try to keep away from each other as much as possible.
We are experiencing high volumes of calls and request that you think before you ring if your problem might be urgent or could be managed by the online advice at NHS111 which covers a host of medical problems and situations.
If you have an existing booking with the surgery this may be changed at short notice to a telephone consultation in the first instance.
Please use online ordering facilities for medications and be aware that we are not issuing more than the standard quantities and there are no shortages of medications at this time.
