Clinics&Services
We follow the Department of Health guidance on childhood immunisation in accordance with their Standard UK Schedule set out on the NHS.UK website.
We encourage parents to consult the NHS.UK website to understand what is recommended for their child and make appropriate provision. It is always recommended that you stick to the appropriate immunisation dates, because the earlier your child is immunised the better protected they are.
The NHS.UK website should provide answers to most questions. However, if you have ongoing concerns, please contact the surgery.
If your child’s immunisation schedule has been delayed or interrupted for any reason, it can be resumed again at any time. Please make sure you reschedule any missed appointments as soon as possible.
It is important that your child has a one month gap between each vaccination of the same type as this allows their body to build-up the necessary immunity to the bacteria or virus.
We offer a range of vaccinations for the benefit of patient well-being, many of which are offered free of charge.

Annual Reviews
We offer annual reviews for patients on the chronic disease register (e.g. heart disease, asthma, diabetes, COPD, hypertension) aligned to the month of their birthday. These are undertaken by practice nurses and healthcare assistants as required.
Please speak to a Receptionist to book an appointment or visit NHS.UK to access information and support on healthier living.
NHS Health Check
We offer a free NHS Health Check for adults aged between 40-74, designed to spot early signs of stroke, kidney disease, heart disease, type 2 diabetes or dementia.
As we get older, we have a higher risk of developing one of these conditions. If you are in this age group without a pre-existing condition, we will contact you every five years to invite you for a free NHS Health Check.
After the check-up, your healthcare professional will discuss your results with you and give you advice to help you lower your risk of a stroke, kidney disease, heart disease, diabetes or dementia, and maintain or improve your health.
Please speak to a Receptionist for further information or visit NHS.UK to access information and support on healthier living.

We offer a wide range of additional medical services. Some of these are free to our patients as part of NHS funding, but other services are not covered by this and are covered by a charge.
